Haykakan Zhamanak: Russian-Armenian businessman buys Electric Networks of Armenia
The company Tashir Group, owned by Russian-Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetyan, is said to have purchased the Electric Networks of Armenia.
Though the company’s spokesperson, Natalia Sarjanyan, has not confirmed the report, the paper says its sources claim that the transaction has been already concluded.
“The Electric Networks of Armenia has huge debts; its loan duties alone make up 220 million [US] Dollars, with the debts to other companies amounting to 16 billion Drams [over $30,000],” writes the paper.
