Pashinyan must face jail for crushing Armenia's future - Vazgen Manukyan
Nikol Pashinyan's actions are tantamount to a crime that led to crushing Armenia's future as a country, the opposition's joint prime ministerial nominee said today, condemning the prime minister for the failures during and after Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war.
"Nikol Pashinyan has undermined the country, so he must be sent to jail as a criminal," Vazgen Manukyan told a crowd of protesters in Yerevan's Republic Square.
"Take anyone from the street [to appoint him or her a prime minister] and that person will turn out tenfold better [than Pashinyan]," the opposition leader stated.
Meantime he called for civilized processes for unseating the current government, adding that "the sooner they leave, the better it will be for Armenia."
